With summer-like heat and low humidity sticking around, wildfire danger will stay high through this week. Texans are urged to skip outdoor burning, welding, or anything that can spark a fire. The state has 350+ firefighters, 125 fire apparatus and dozers, and 35+ aircraft ready to assist local crews if needed. This is the first EF5 since 2013, and happened during the record-breaking year for tornadoes in North Dakota.
