Spider ID - QLD, Australia:Well, its def a Huntsman Spider, genus Heteropoda, family Sparassidae. If youre in coastal southern QLD, it could be Long-legged Huntsman (Heteropoda longipes), but further up, there are other species around.

hello, is there any way you could try and id this caterpillar found in the north west of england? in motion: defensive poses: i think it may be the larvae of a pug moth based on appearance and location, but its super hard trying to nail down something concrete. if this helps at all, it seems to be really defensive in nature - most of the time, it stays curled up in the dirt and stays pretty still (until nudged) tysm!! i can provide more photos if needed

Caterpillar ID - England:It could be, its definitely in the family Geometridae. It could also be something like a Grass Wave moth (Perconia strigillaria).Anybody out there good with UK Geometrid ID?

I would love an ID on this spider if possible, a friend of mine asked me because they were worried about it potentially being unsafe for their cats. Location is upstate New York in the US (Albany area roughly), apologies if the pictures are too blurry. The big abdomen and white spots seem like they should be really distinct but Iā€™m struggling to find a match through Google. Any help is appreciated!

Hello yes, these are one of the Japalure lizards, genus Diploderma, family Agamidae, most likely the Taiwan Japalure (Diploderma swinhonis), unless you were up in the mountains, in which case it could also be Short-legged JapalureĀ (Diploderma brevipes).

I saw two of these pretties recently and they were so shiny! Could you please tell me what they might be? The picture was taken in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Thank you!
