The nib is a bit worse for wear, with the tines being misaligned and the nib itself having a great deal of tarnish on it. You can see that the nib is 14 karat gold.

The ebonite feed. The middle plastic part is cracked, which Iā€™ve heard is common for feeds of this model. The damage was there when I got the pen.

Itā€™s hard to see in the image, but I think the threads or pen body is semi-translucent? Itā€™s a slightly different color than the rest of the body.

The piston for the piston filling mechanism. The piston is stuck, which I have heard is due to the piston head being cork.
