When it comes to the debate around whether Homi Jehangir Bhabha should have received the Bharat Ratna, those who truly understand his legacy ( second or third generation) see it differently. For them, India becoming a nuclear power is recognition enough. They believe he would be content knowing the foundation he laid has brought the country this far. And if the third stage of India’s nuclear program is successfully realized in the next 12–15 years, that would be the real tribute something that would have truly delighted him. So the real question isn’t Bharat Ratna or not. The real tribute is this: fund and accelerate more BHAVINI reactors.

They dedicated their entire lives to what we today call the second stage of India’s journey toward nuclear self-reliance. There are numerous Homi(s) who gathered at kalpakkam or joined it online.. what a delight to see them succeed
