Here's my recipe. One more note. This is the first chili I've made or eaten that doesn't upset my stomach the next day! I've tried for years to find a chili that doesn't do that. I think using roasted tomatoes, sautéing the veggies first and the long cook time has diminished the acid.

Did you hear sirens this morning during the storms? Did you know they are NOT just for tornadoes. Most NTX cities adopted guidelines in 2009 to also sound sirens for winds of 70+mph and 1.5" hail. Some cities like Denton, Keller and many others will sound them for 1.25" hail.

Actually, it's called the Outdoor Warning System, OWS. Some locations sound sirens for smaller or larger hail and lower or stronger wind. It really depends on your specific location.
