Warm, cloudy and humid to start! The cloud cover will slow down the temperatures from climbing too quick. It'll still be a hot afternoon with highs getting close to the triple digits. The heat index will be in the 100s for several hours this afternoon. #wfaaweather

Rain?! A few small showers developed near DBU. The stationary front causing flooding rain from Kentucky to the Carolinas is pushing cloud cover south. A combo of that and moisture from the remnants of Bertha allowed some drizzle to develop. #wfaaweather

Dry the rest of the month. If we get a sneaky shower or storm in here it would be a low chance in the first week of August.

A very weak front pushes into North Texas today. This could bring an isolated shower or storm southwest of DFW this afternoon. Most will stay rain-free and rain will struggle to form. Any rain would help out (temporarily) with the heat. #wfaaweather
