US intelligence believes Iran new supreme leader Mojtaba Khemenei is far more interested in pursuing nuclear weapons then his father was-NYT

Europol have released their 2025 reports on terrorism within Europe with revealing findings: -45 terror related incidents occurred 24 of which were Jihadist linked 12 also attributed to Left wing terrorism with right wing terrorism accounting for 5, of the 45 incidents 22 were carried out attacks. -347 out of the 486 total arrests were Jihadism linked terror activity 43 being to right wing, Spain had the highest amount of Jihadists arrested at 100, France was next at 64 then Austria with 40 and Belgium with 30 and Germany with 21. Germany and the Netherlands had the highest amount of right wing arrests at 8 a piece. -France was the most dangerous place for terrorism in 2025 having 14 incidents and 84 arrests 10 of the 14 being Jihadist terror threats 3 others being right wing. -Bombing and stabbing were the top two most popular form of attack method. -The majority of the 22 completed attacks were carried out by lone actors often radicalised online.
