RT by @NaomiOhReally: What is happening now is a disgrace that cannot be justified. It is beyond negligence, beyond excuses, and beyond anything that can be tolerated or explained. Milk that is supposed to save children is being distributed while it smells spoiled, with only a few days left before it expires. This milk was left for months at the crossings under relentless heat, then allowed in and handed out as if children’s lives mean nothing. Children are being forced to drink it, not because their parents accept this, but because they have no choice. Milk is unavailable, and diapers are nearly impossible to find. If they do appear, their prices are brutally unaffordable. Parents take what they are given, fully aware it may harm their children, but they are left with no alternative. In a situation where even the most basic necessities are missing, refusal is no longer an option. When children fall ill, it should not come as a surprise it is the direct consequence of what they are being subjected to. What we are living through is not just a crisis, but a harsh reality where children’s most basic rights are stripped away, leaving us in an unending nightmare without mercy.
