RT by @EASA: Our #AW09 pre-series helicopter PS5 has successfully completed one of the final flight test campaigns in Cotronei (Crotone, Italy), further expanding the aircraft's operating envelope in support of the certification programme. Conducted in the higher-altitude conditions of the Calabrian mountains and witnessed by the @EASA flight test team, the campaign focused on airfield performance and handling qualities, further confirming the aircraft's performance and maturity. The journey to and from Cotronei was itself a significant milestone. Flying from Vergiate (Varese, Italy) to Cotronei with with an intermediate stop in Pescara, the AW09 helicopter completed its longest ferry flight to date, demonstrating the readiness of both the aircraft and the flight test programme while supporting the expansion of the certification campaign.
