Wasn’t to be today in Dublin. England one of the top sides in world football. Tuesday will tell us more about where we are now. Still, a lovely sunset in the city. Now to focus on @NDFootball before tomorrow’s big NFL opener for my Cards.

If he was to say the same after watching a Republican parade through the centre of Carrickfergus, then I’d say ‘fair enough.’ He won’t, and nor will anyone else. A foolish comment betraying ignorance and an inherent bias that will prove problematic.

I see the DUP Educ. Minister is out fighting for the private schools. In England, the VAT charge is being used to fund more teachers. We could do with more here, but it appears the DUP’s affinity with the private school lobby trumps this. Where do the other parties here stand?

I understand frustration of families, but the scale of what is currently happening in our system re expansion of SEN non-mainstream provision is both alarming & unprecedented. Delays are inevitable. The system is in a perpetual state of crisis.

Support the Minister’s stance on phones in school, but this seems like a waste of money. Schools already have regulations to manage this without this costly venture.
