I donāt have a religious nor cultural right to organise nor demand a republican parade through Edgarstown in Portadown nor the Shankill Rd in Belfast.
Nor do I have a desire to provoke the type of violent response Iād expect if those parades were forced through such districts.

I have spent a long time trying to collect and consolidate everything out there on Portobello HQ; home of the national army in 1922.
It started with me trying to track down those responsible for the beating and near killing of my namesake there, shortly after he was arrested in Wicklow.
I meticulously researched every reference to portobello at @dfarchives, other archives and at various auction houses, and have found the names finally; and on that specific lane of research, found extraordinary discussions about the Collins safe, and its archived ransacking in the hours after Dublin had found out about BNB.
Ask yourselves:
Who would want immediate access to Collins safe once his death was confirmed? Who might be concerned about its contents once Michael was out of the picture?
Rather than say more than I need toā¦lets just try a logical listā¦

Good curric and explicit teaching matter, yes. Good pedagogy. But raising attainment is not the same as closing the disadvantage gap. Which is widening...
Meanwhile, austerity, sustained cuts to public services and the erosion of support around schools have very real consequences for disadvantaged pupils.
So you cannot deepen the material conditions that produce inequality, then present classroom pedagogy as the moral solution to it.
That doesnāt add up and I really worry about our current trajectory in NI especially the overstated fact the KR curriculums will close gaps and comparing of whole education systems to make the point when there is variation across some many facets - resourcing and budgets especially - and PISA does not isolate KR impact nor does it point to a certain curric type.
Context matters. Transplanting from one place to another should be treated with caution.
