R to @theo: Worth noting that they are moving OFF of this billing model on June 1st. The "per message billing" model is dead. Some requests cost fractions of a cent, others cost 4 digits.

I sent a single message on Copilot and it did over 60m tokens. It's still going. $30 of inference so far. In their current billing model, you get 1,500 messages, regardless of how expensive each is. I'm pretty sure I can do $45,000 of messaging on this plan

I’m setting a public deadline of May 15th for azure to fix their inference. I do not take well to censorship. I’m doing this out of respect for my friends. R to @theo: AWS doesn't support OpenAI models (yet), but they do host Anthropic models. Opus 4.7 is almost 2x faster on AWS than Azure. I hope this trend continues when they support OpenAI models. Until this is fixed, there is no reason to run inference on Azure.

It's so hard to describe the vibe difference between Opus 4.7 and GPT 5.5 (for coding) GPT is smarter and can unblock you, but it gets stuck in stupid ways and strangles itself with context sometimes. Opus will go down the most insane paths and refuse to acknowledge obvious answers, but it understands intent better and has more taste. Whenever I use one for more than an hour, I always reach to the other to "clean up". Best part? All of this changes every few weeks šŸ™ƒ

I am genuinely really really impressed with the Framework 13 Pro. I was unhappy with the old 13. Awful keyboard, trackpad, and display. New one is way better in all categories. Best PC trackpad I've used, awesome keyboard, no more display wobbling. Feels 10x more premium.
