Re James McMurdock's mooted return to Reform UK, could he, or anybody else, possibly explain:
i) Why the firm he ran, "J A M Financial Ltd", was about to be forcibly struck off - only for a third party to intervene and suspend the process on 11 Feb 2023. It has been in legal stasis for three years. Why? Who has stopped it from being wound up and for what reason?
ii) Why the firm he still owns, Gym Live Health & Fitness Ltd, also had its compulsory strike-off suspended, also on 11 Feb 2023. Why did McMurdock request its voluntary dissolution last September? Why has Companies House declined to allow this during the intervening six months?
iii) Why did J A M's debts jump from zero to ÂŁ50,000 in 2020? And why did previously "dormant" Gym Live's jump from zero to ÂŁ20,000?
It was last July that we approached McMurdock, who suspended himself rather than answering questions from us, or, it later transpired, Reform itself.
What is going on?
