no clew. just started playing today. and having trouble getting to my package that has the glasses, and I don't always see objects that I can track as well, took me 2 hours just to make the game be able to track the computer monitor

Has anyone managed to find Dolly yet? I know where she's suppposed to be... you can make her appear fine, and you know she's there because she laughs. But I just... can't seem to find where to aim. Probably because she's tiny.

No need to apologize, it seems perfectly reasonable to try replacing some of those spent funds! that also makes sense re: the map being sometimes incorrect no matter the navigation system and the potential bugs that might come with such a venture. I have…

Unfortunately the game doesn't really have a concept of "rooms," it has space and objects that occupy said space. The room announcements you hear in the mod are camera spaces, they have no real world coordinates. I would have to specify the objects like…

I mean, an alternative would also be to just limit it to objects in a room, more about autoaiming your focus as opposed to moving the player from room to room. Not sure how doable that would be since it sometimes thinks objects are in other places and…

Appreciate the thoughts. I am still considering teleportation to be a failure path. My reasoning is thus: autowalk only fails because the mod's map is inaccurate. Teleportation doesn't solve that, it papers over it. It could, for instance, zap the player…

Hi!Congrats on the mod, I've played the game with a friend, but being able to play it on my own it's something I was really missing. I too would be in favour of teleportation. For me, the exploration in this game is about exploring relationships, so I…

Normally I wouldn't be overly keen on a teleport feature as it is unnatural, But in this case it'd only be for very specific edge cases and as a last resort when pathfinding faulters. Echoing others here, I'd argue stumbling around for an object that you…

I totally get the 3D pathfinding being a bear and honestly it's so impressive that you've gotten it to work as well as it has! Regarding teleportation, though, I think immersion is a little broken regardless. Due to the way the mod itself works, the need…

I for one would also be in support of teleportation, though I understand the worry that it might break something, given that yes, it is a game about exploration and it's not expecting someone to just poof into an entirely different area. However, I don't…

It's gonna struggle with small objects. I'm still tuning the system but I don't really expect it will ever not do that. Genuinely sorry if this is disappointing, I understand that it's frustrating but 3d pathing is tough to do right even for the big kids.…

yeah it struggles with small objects for me as well. Also is there a way to maby have an autowalk feature for objects that are in the house but you haven't met? right now discovering things on my own is really hard, especially without a wiki or something…

For me, the mod consistently struggles to get to small things, (with the exception for some reason of Diana--perhaps sensing that I utterly adored her instantly and taking pity on me!) But Mateo, for example? Never has it gotten me to the right place, not…

So what does it actually mean when I use f6 and the mod says something like, behind left/ahead left? not sure if its just me but when I move the camera or walk in the direction the mod tolled me to I can't really get to the object. So like, when the mod…

New version of DEA is out. The main fix is that it no longer refuses to create the keybinds if one of them is blocked. So if you had a conflict with, say, ctrl+f1, it wouldn't load the rest of the keys. Now it will only break the key that is actually…
