Sometimes when Mom is out of town I'll just make up a huge batch of spaghetti sauce and eat it like chunky soup all week. I thought I had one more container of sauce. I opened the fridge. It was chunky salsa. I am BETRAYED, and more I AM NOT EATING THAT.

Thomas (the eldest of my three Maine Coons) has an anxiety disorder which causes him to overgroom, eat his own hair, and form intestinal blockages that could kill him. To avoid this, we have him shaved regularly.

One of my Asian shield mantises was hanging limp last night. "Either she's dying or she's molting," I said, and was a little sad, but moved on. There's nothing I can do to help once they reach that stage. It was molting. SO molting. She's HUGE.
