While I let Double Dragon II bake for a bit, I'm taking some time to add MSU-1 Support to my Blaster Master port. I added an options sub-screen that will let anyone toggle between 2A03 and MSU-1 on a per-track basis without having to mess with files:

Progress video for my next port, Double Dragon II. The largest part of the work is working: scrolling, irq handling, sprites, and bg tile drawing. Still need to do sfx/music, and bg tile attributes (palette selection), optimization to remove the screen…

This doesn't look like much, but These two helicopter scenes (the first flying in from the right, and the second taking off) both use MMC3 features that's somewhat hard to deal with on the SNES port. I'm super happy that I've gotten them both working.

One of the things Double Dragon 2 uses MMC3 for is an IRQ to keep the hud stationary during scrolling. Double Dragon 1 used Sprite 0 detection. Luckily, my Double Dragon scrolling routine worked nearly out of the box for Double Dragon II
