Nationwide report a 2.4% annual rise in UK house prices in August. Based on typical seasonal trends, I'm currently projecting a year end price rise of 3% (it's been consistently at this rate since April)

Hey @data.ft.com You need to stop using this chart when referring to the Labour 1.5m target. The target is England not UK, this data undercounts new build completions in recent decades, and the target is based on net additions anyway.
