This year, 20 players were drafted who were not in the Top 300 of the Consensus Big Board. This is tied for the fewest number of players drafted outside of Top 300 we've seen in this 12-year project (2024).

He's primarily tagged as a fullback so I don't think the consensus board had a good read on him (same with specialists) but Max Bredeson is the first player not in the top 300 of the CBB so far. Pretty late in the draft for that to happen! Usually happens…

With that, every player in the top 54 ranks of the consensus board has been selected. A lot of people have speculated that consensus would be worse this year bc of the weak draft but it doesn't seem that way
